Who’s involved

Joining WMBL really helped me connect with the local community and learn about my area as well as Walthamstow more widely. Plus, it motivated me to volunteer and give back locally.

Being part of WMBL makes me feel more connected to my local area. I enjoy working alongside other residents to help achieve positive change for our neighbourhood.

I am proud to be one of the William Morris Big Local volunteers helping to fund, promote and connect people that want to make a positive difference within the community.

I first volunteered when I was new to the area to become more connected to people here. I definitely feel I've achieved that over the last five years as a partnership member. I've also been able to bring various skills to the table to drive forward our community engagement and strategic plan.

I'm delighted to be involved in the work of WMBL. I have seen that initiatives like the Tool Library make a real, practical difference to residents and stimulate community led projects.

I really enjoy volunteering with WMBL as I can get involved with what is happening locally. From one-off to long term - there are so many ways to get involved.

Living and working in this part of Walthamstow, I appreciate the power of community, and really enjoy being involved with William Morris Big Local.  Together with the creativity and energy of local people and organisations, we can make a positive difference to the area in many ways.

I’ve been working for WMBL since 2016 helping bring projects, events and community led initiatives to life. It’s a joy to work on such a unique project and link up with local people, organisations and charities to make great things happen.
