Its main roles and duties are to:

• Make strategic and financial decisions for WMBL and to be accountable for them.
• Ensure that all decisions are in line with the WMBL Plan and that they respond to the need of the community.
• Monitor and evaluate progress and adapt the Plan and delivery model as required.
• Meet once a month for Partnership meetings and to feed back to the wider community at an annual general meeting.
• Oversee the work carried out by the WMBL staff.
• Ensure that WMBL is actively engaged and represented in the community.
• Help raise awareness of WMBL and encourage residents from the local area to get involved.
