Each of the WMBL themes has a dedicated group made up of Partnership members, local residents and community representatives. The groups do a lot of practical thinking and also get stuck into volunteering on specific projects. 

• Theme groups meet on average once every 6 weeks
• They work together on projects in between meetings
• Get the opportunity to really shape WMBL projects
• Have a great mix of thinkers and doers with everyone pulling together and working to their strengths
• The Community Theme focuses on community events, digital and social isolation, community chest grants and how to strengthen the community.
• The Outdoor Spaces Theme supports the Walthamstow Tool Library, comes up with initiatives to improve outdoor spaces and oversees the Green Grants programme. 
• The Local Economy Theme works on projects to help raise the visibility of local businesses as well as the provision of work placements and training. Its overall aim is to better connect local businesses with the wider community.
