Based on the Brothers Grimm’s famous folk tale and set in Waltham Forest, Other Theresa’s re-imagined story follows the frightening fallout from a cost-of-living crisis. With too many mouths to feed, what’s a wicked stepmother going to do?
When Hansel and Gretel’s feckless father Stanley is forced to go along with her evil plan, Hansel and Gretel get lost in Waltham Forest.

In their desperate quest to find the way back to Tower Hamlets Road, they meet some interesting locals. And when they finally chance upon a tower made of freshly-baked goods, the hapless pair just can’t believe their luck.

BUT is the ‘kind, lonely old lady’, who owns the incrEDIBLE house, really as lovely as she first appears?
