Join us on the evening of Saturday 17th August at Harmony Hall, where we will present a programme of dance, music, singing and poetry in celebration of our culturally rich community. Local acts will be performing a combination of traditional and contemporary pieces that represent their heritage, beliefs and cultures. We will have performers from the Asian Community, Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Albanian, Portuguese and even a good old fashion English song or two for good measure! The event is free and refreshments will be served at half time. We are making the first half family friendly and accessible to younger audiences with the second half being more suitable for older children and adults.
We believe that by learning about each others beliefs and heritage and celebrating who we are as human beings we can break down the barriers of fear and distrust that ultimately lead to hate in our community. Join us for an evening of inspiration, learning and good times! Book your tickets now as there will be limited availability on the night!
