WMBL has helped fund a new over 50’s club where keeping fit in a friendly atmosphere is central to the sessions. Its free for anyone over 50 living in the ward and judging by these photos it definitely packs a punch!
The sessions take place every Thursday at William Morris Community Centre with the first hour being a pre-fitness social followed by a boxercise session with former boxing pro Mark Callaghan.
Full information and details are on the poster below, you can even just turn up and try it out!
We have funded the return of free Roller Skating sessions in the Priory Court Sports Pitch following the success and popularity of previous sessions in 2015.
Let’s Roll will be running a skating session every school holiday this academic year for all abilities and all ages including adults! All equipment is provided and instructors are on hand to help you improve.
The first session is on Tuesday 25th October with a Christmas special lined up for Saturday 17th December! All ages and abilities welcome. Free to William Morris Ward residents!
The William Morris Big Local Forum is our quarterly public meeting where we share all the latest news on what we’ve been up to, what local organisations we’ve been funding and what priorities we are focusing on. There is an opportunity to meet our Partnership Members (local residents who steer the Big Local) and to have your say in making sure our priorities and focus stays relevant.
Our next Forum is on the 1st November at Gnome House, details are on the poster below. We hope to see you there!
