Multi – Cultural Food Festival 2015
The Partnership Members would like to say
Big Thank You
To all the Local Residents, Local Businesses, Territorial Army, Voluntary and Community Groups and of Cause our very own Borough Police Commander and team for supporting and making our event a great success
The event kicked off on a lovely warm sunny day with William Morris Community Centre taking the lead for the Carnival procession with Steel band from William Morris Community Centre to Priory Court Community centre.
Exhibitors displayed their lovely cuisines from the Caribbean, Greece, Asian and Turkish with wide variety of hand backed cakes from Children of Willow Field School.
There was lots of entertainments this included:
Two excellent bands playing at Priory Court setting themood, keeping people in the groove.
There was lots of activities for the children and young people, this included:
Bouncy Castles, Climbing Wall, Face painting, African Drumming and Dance performance by Agudze.
Residents had the opportunity to choose what type of gym equipment they wanted for their outdoor gym and there was advice from Ascham Homes
The feedback for the event has been very positive from residents and their family members, we envisage to turn this into an annual event which can only get bigger and better each year.
We hope you will enjoy the Pictures of the event below
